GROUP BIOGRAPHY

ERIC COOKSTON

First I would like to thank my LORD and Savior Jesus Christ for saving me at an early age of 10..

I have been married to my wife Linda for almost 14 years. We have three wonderful children: Matt, Chase, and Erica. I am also an ordained Minister and serve as Associate Pastor at my home Church as well as the Music Director. All of my family has music in their lives as our boys can play music and our daughter has been singing in church since she learned to talk. My wife formally sang with her brother Dan, and mother as the Adkins family.

I grew up in southern gospel following groups like the Gaither's, Gold City, the Singing American's, and the Trailblazers to name a few. I learned to play the piano as a teen and the guitar as well. I have played music in church for over 25 years of my life. My first experience playing in a group was with Homeward Bound from Ft. Worth, TX. It consisted of my dad, mom, and another lady from the church my father Pastored at the time. I also tried my hand at Praise and Worship music in a group called NotbyChance, but my love for Southern Gospel kept calling me.

I previously had met the guys from Unity as part of the Alabama Crossmen. Randy tried to convince me to move to Alabama to play for them. Well, after many years the circle has been made..

I thank the God for the talents HE has blessed me with. It's thru Him all things are possible..........
